Salsabuzz extends a big hello to:-

Maureen.

Maureen Harris – BA Hons Business Studies/Finance.

Accountant by profession, she has provided her service, skills, support and expertise to a number of small enterprises such as:-

·        Rawcus Promotions

·        Gaffa & Co

·        Prestige & Black

·        Ticketmania

Her participation with these former projects was spurred by friendships and a desire to share the knowledge she has to the tangible benefit of others, to which she believes she has been successful to date.

When asked why she dedicates so much of her time helping others, Maureen remarked,

“Personally, I get so much out of it.  I don’t view what I do as I would conventional work, with its roots in business and financial transactions.  What I do here is hard work but it’s also fun.

 If I am able to elevate the business one step or even marginally assist in its growth then my job is complete.  Fundamentally I wish to see culture and traditions’based businesses succeed and see my role as being based around helping businesses to help themselves”.

Maureen has also written concert and theatre reviews for magazines and has aspirations of writing a book herself in the future.

Maureen became involved with Salsabuzz “quite by accident” and was thrilled to volunteer her services and has been welcomed on board by Nathan. She also looks forward to watching the business grow from a seedling concept to a mighty oak.
